Winning the Olympic was a dream I had for me, my parents and my country. As a second-generation Olympic medal winner, my parents were instrumental in creating an environment to achieve excellence and gave me the best opportunities.
Tournaments have come & gone, won & lost, but these individuals have stayed on since my day 1.
He is amazing, a very giving person. With Leander, I know that I have won a great friend for life and that’s important. He is like my brother. There are no words for Leander, he is like a brother to me.
He always comes in with a smile to the locker room. He has always given me great advice. It was just such an honour to always be surrounded by you.
When he plays doubles it’s like a ninja playing. Two persons at the net, he’s here and then he’s there and you don’t know who is who. He is probably the fastest tennis player at the net by far.
He’s so much fun to play against and I thought I would much rather play with him than against him.

Playing with (Leander), it's always great because he has my back always. When I'm struggling with something, he's always with me on the same side and always tells me that nothing happened.
